In the cold open, Sasha, Abe, and Daryl continue their face off with the group of bikers. After Team S.A.D hands over their weapons, the lead biker orders one of his men to take Daryl to search the truck. Meanwhile, words are exchanged between Sasha, Abe, and the lead biker. It results in the biker aiming guns at both Sasha and Abe. In typical Dixon style, Daryl saves them from disaster. Daryl subdues the Savior he was with, then blows the bikers to bits with the rocket launcher. S.A.D... hop in the truck and head home.

At ASZ the group continues to make their way through the herd. Rick realizes that there are too many walkers to drive the walkers away with flares and comes up with a new plan. When the question is raised about what to do about Judith, Father G volunteers to take her to safety. Carl passes her on and Father G makes his way to the church with Judith. Glenn and Enid team up to try to save Maggie, but not without some teenaged snark from Enid.
Rick, Michonne, Carl, Jessie, Sam, and Ron lock hands and begin walking through the herd again. Sam becomes frozen in fear and stops. Jessie’s pleas become more desperate as Sam cries that he can’t do it.
A few walkers notice Sam and inevitably sink their teeth into him. As Sam screams, Jessie becomes paralyzed. A walker latches on to Jessie’s shoulder and she doesn’t react. Suddenly she is swarmed, yet continues to tightly grasp on to Carl’s hand. Carl’s desperation grows as he tries to free himself, but looks to Rick for help. Having no other choice with the walkers creeping on Carl and seeing Jessie is a goner, Rick hacks off Jessie’s hand with his trusty red axe.

Ron picks Jessie’s gun off the ground and aims it at Rick. Carl jumps toward him as the gun goes off. The bullet hits Carl. As Ron goes to shoot Rick again, Michonne drives her katana through his chest, killing him. Rick turns and sees Carl standing with blood spewing from his eye, Carl softly crying, “Dad.” Carl collapses to the ground.

Carol shoots and kills the Wolf.
Denise makes it back to the infirmary in time for Rick to come running in with a bleeding Carl. No longer afraid, Denise immediately starts working on him. After helplessly watching Carl, Rick rage is activated and he takes his axe and goes HAM on the herd of walkers in the safezone. Other Alexandrians, in awe and inspired, join in on the fight.
Together they fight the herd, because that’s the only way they can win...

The long wait is almost over and our patience will be greatly rewarded as "No Way Out" is definitely the best mid-season premiere. First, all the characters will appear and will have something interesting to do, each member of the cast will have at least one important moment in the episode. That’s a big change from the first part of the season. But "No Way Out" actually remind us how great and fantastic the whole cast are together. It’s so much better to watch all the characters evolving in the same time, specially in a time of crisis. And between the herd inside the walls and the Saviors, there'll be crisis to deal with.
Having all the characters evolving around or inside the Alexandria Safe Zone will really make the show more entertaining and thrilling to watch. The tension will be higher than ever as you will fear for each character's lives all the time. Plus, there will be a great group scene that we will remember forever. It's rare now in The Walking Dead to have all the characters involved in the same time, that probably what will make "No Way Out" so special and so exciting.
Then, "No Way Out" is the best MSP because it will perfectly resolve the stories left unfinished last year and it will set up the new season. "No Way Out" will be a real game changer.
Change will definitely be the main theme of the episode. A lot of characters will have their moments in "No Way Out", where they finally grown and overcome their fears and doubts or at least they will try to. You will be surprised by some of their actions and reactions. Many characters will reveal themselves.

"No Way Out" will really put in perspective everything that happened before, all the events of season 6A has led to this episode. It will open new paths for all the characters, and it promises an exciting and different tone for the rest of season. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]The first 5 minutes are spectacular. Daryl, Sasha and Abe will meet for the first time with the Saviors as shown in the Prologue. And let’s just say we won’t forget ever about that first meeting. People hide guns and ammo in the weirdest places ever.
Through "No Way Out", several deceased characters (at least, one major from each seasons like Andrea or Dale) will be mentioned. Also, the episode will make a lot of references to events from the past seasons. All those references will be beautifully written in and they will give more depth to the characters psychologies.
Denise will be one of the character in danger, as she will be held hostage by the wolf and he has a special plan for her. We will learn a bit about the Saviors’ habits, how they operate, what they want and what their rules are.

Glenn will make a powerful speech about surviving and what matters in this world now. It will be quite a touching scene. Carol will share a powerful scene with another character, and McBride’s portray of Carol’s inner and mixed feelings is just splendid and heartbreaking.
Greg Nicotero – described the back eight episodes of season 6 as "relentless" and "heartbreaking." Nicotero also dropped a little tease related to the impending arrival of the comic book villain Negan, which will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. "If you read the comic book, you know we're climbing towards a major death," Nicotero teased.
In the comics, Negan was the one who killed Glenn. He did so by bashing Glenn's face using his barbed-wire covered baseball bat named Lucille. Though AMC's adaptation is not an exact copy of the comics, Yeun previously told Entertainment Weekly that Glenn's death scene in the original material is too iconic for it not to happen on the show. He even added that fans might feel cheated if that big moment does not go down on the series. We will see more of him in the Season 6 Finale.

This promotional graphic "A Larger World," also happens to be the title of Volume 16 of Robert Kirkman's comic series. In those issues, Rick's posse meets Paul "Jesus" Monroe and is introduced to the Hilltop colony. Expect that arc by episode 10.

The character, who will be portrayed by British actor Tom Payne. Introduced in issue 91 of the source material, Jesus hails from the Hilltop Colony – a town which a lot of communities often do business with. A master of hand-to-hand combat and having a quick sense of logic and justice, Jesus easily becomes a trusted ally of Rick.
And finally, there will be deaths, and not a few. That’s what we love about The Walking Dead, the danger is everywhere and any character (except a few major) can go at anytime and with the herd and the Saviors, the danger will be present all the time. There will be some surprising and emotional deaths.
Season 6, episode 9 "will close a chapter" in the series, "episode 10 is a completely different flavor, something we've never seen before in the show, "what begins to happen is that the world starts to get a little bigger."

Here are the first 4-Minutes of the episode...
